Content Removal and Account Termination
- Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove or restrict any content or information you share on Grassroots to Glory if we believe it violates these Terms of Use, our policies, or if required by law. We may also refuse or stop providing the Service to you (including terminating or disabling your access to the Grassroots to Glory platform) to protect our community or services, especially if you create risk or legal exposure for us, violate these Terms of Use or our policies, repeatedly infringe on others' intellectual property rights, or if required by law. Additionally, we may change the Service, remove or block content, or stop providing all or part of the Service if necessary to avoid or mitigate adverse legal or regulatory impacts on us.
- Notification: In most cases, if we remove content, we will notify you and explain your options for requesting a review. However, we may not provide notice if you have seriously or repeatedly violated these Terms, or if providing notice may expose us or others to legal liability, harm our user community, compromise the integrity of our services, systems, or products, or where we are restricted due to technical limitations or legal constraints.
- Account Deletion: If you believe your account has been terminated in error, or you wish to disable or permanently delete your account, please consult our support team. Once you request to delete your content or account, the deletion process will start within 30 days and may take up to 90 days to complete. During this process, your content will no longer be visible to other users but will still be subject to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. After deletion, it may take up to an additional 90 days to remove your content from backups and disaster recovery systems.
- Exceptions to Content Deletion: In certain situations, content will not be deleted within the standard 90-day period:
- If your content has been used by others: If your content has been shared by others under this license and they have not deleted it, this license will continue to apply until that content is deleted.
- Technical Limitations: If deletion within 90 days is not technically feasible, we will complete the deletion as soon as possible.
- Legal or Safety Reasons: If deletion would hinder our ability to:
- Investigate or identify illegal activity or violations of our terms and policies.
- Protect the safety and security of our products, systems, and users.
- Comply with a legal obligation, such as preserving evidence.
- Comply with a judicial or administrative request, law enforcement, or government agency request.
- Retention Duration: In these cases, content will be retained only as long as necessary for these purposes, with the exact duration varying on a case-by-case basis.
- Termination of Agreement: If you delete or we disable your account, these Terms will no longer apply as an agreement between you and Grassroots to Glory. However, the sections on content removal and account termination and "Our Agreement and Dispute Resolution" will still apply after your account has been terminated, disabled, or deleted.

- No Third-Party Rights: This agreement does not grant rights to any third parties.
- Non-Transferability: You cannot transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement without our consent.

- Offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable content posted by others.
- Events beyond our reasonable control.
- Limitations: These limitations do not exclude or limit our liability for death, personal injury, or fraudulent misrepresentation caused by our negligence, nor do they exclude or limit our liability where the law does not permit us to do so.
Dispute Resolution
- Legal Disputes: If a claim or dispute arises from your use of the Service, both you and Grassroots to Glory agree to resolve it in a competent court in the country of your main residence, applying the laws of that country without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Unsolicited Material
We value your feedback and suggestions on improving our platform. However, please note that any ideas, feedback, or other suggestions you provide may be used by us without any restrictions or obligation to compensate you. We are not obligated to keep such submissions confidential.
Updating These Terms
As our sports platform evolves, we may need to update these Terms to reflect changes in our Service or policies. When we make such changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance (for example, through a notice on our platform) and give you an opportunity to review the revised Terms before they take effect. By continuing to use the Service after the updated Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by them.

3.3 Currency and Tax
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable UK taxes where required. Where VAT applies, this will be shown at checkout.
4. Free Trial
We offer a 30-day free trial to new subscribers. The following conditions apply to all free trials:
-
A valid payment method (credit or debit card) is required to start your free trial.
-
You will not be charged during the free trial period.
-
Unless you cancel before the end of the 30-day trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription, and your payment method will be charged at the applicable monthly rate.
-
We reserve the right to withdraw or modify the free trial offer at any time. Free trials are available once per user account and may not be combined with other promotional offers.
5. Right to Cancel and Cooling-Off Period
5.1 Your Statutory Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel a paid subscription within 14 calendar days of the date on which your subscription began (or, where your free trial has converted to a paid subscription, within 14 calendar days of the first payment date) without giving any reason.
5.2 How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel within the cooling-off period (where applicable), you must inform us clearly by contacting hello@grassrootstoglory.co.uk. You may use our cancellation form if provided within the App, but this is not mandatory. Your cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your notice.
6. Billing and Renewals
6.1 Recurring Payments
Your subscription is billed on a monthly recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorise us (or our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method each month until you cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 7.
6.2 Renewal Charges
We will attempt to collect payment for your next billing period approximately 3 days before the end of your current billing period. This helps ensure continuity of your access. Your billing period will remain consistent with the date on which your paid subscription originally commenced (or your free trial converted to a paid plan).
6.3 Payment Methods
Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept major credit and debit cards. We do not store your payment details directly — they are managed by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI-DSS standards. By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept Stripe's terms of service.
Where you subscribe via the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing will be managed by Apple or Google respectively under their own payment terms.
6.4 Payment Receipts
A confirmation of each payment will be sent to the email address associated with your account. Please retain these for your records.
7. Failed Payments
If a payment attempt fails, we will notify you by email to the address associated with your account. Stripe Inc will reattempt the payment in a period of 3 days of grace for the following subscription period. If a payment is not successful within that time, we reserve the right to pause access to the app.
We are not responsible for any charges applied by your bank or card issuer in connection with a failed or declined payment.
8. Cancellation
8.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
-
Using the subscription management settings within the App; or
-
Contacting us at hello@grassrootstoglory.co.uk.
If you subscribed via Apple App Store or Google Play, you must manage and cancel your subscription directly through your Apple or Google account settings. We cannot process cancellations for App Store or Google Play subscriptions on your behalf.
8.2 Effect of Cancellation
If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to your paid plan until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for any subsequent billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a current billing period, except where you are exercising a statutory right to cancel (see Section 5) or where we have agreed otherwise in writing.
8.3 Cancelling During a Free Trial
If you cancel during your 30-day free trial, your subscription will not convert to a paid plan. You will retain access to your free trial until the trial period expires, after which your account will revert to the free tier.
9. Refunds
9.1 14-Day Cooling-Off Refunds
If you validly exercise your right to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period, you will receive a full refund of any charges paid. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used at the time of purchase and will typically be received within 5–10 business days, subject to your card issuer's processing times.
9.2 Refunds Outside the Cooling-Off Period
Outside of the statutory cooling-off period, we do not ordinarily offer refunds for monthly subscription payments, including for unused portions of a billing period following cancellation.
We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests outside the cooling-off period where there has been a demonstrable technical error on our part that has prevented you from accessing the service. Requests of this nature should be directed to hello@grassrootstoglory.co.uk with full details.
9.3 Consumer Rights Act 2015
Nothing in these Payment Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to a remedy where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill. If you believe you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, please contact us at hello@grassrootstoglory.co.uk.
