The Grassroots to Glory app is designed to bridge the gap between aspiring young talents and scouts, enabling users to showcase their abilities, create personalised profiles, and connect with opportunities. Before its official launch, we invite users to test the app, ensuring that all functionalities perform optimally and the user experience is seamless.
This testing phase will focus on core features, including creating accounts, uploading content, engaging with scouts, and using the platform’s discovery tools. To ensure a thorough evaluation, testers are requested to follow the test script outlined below and provide feedback and comments at each area.

Ensure you have a compatible device (iOS or Android) with a stable internet connection.

If you’re on iOS, you should receive a message from TestFlight to install the app within the next 12-24 hours.
Test Flight Install Instructions
- Navigate to the App store and find Testflight.
- Open Testflight and provide the email you are using for testing.
- Await invitation to test the Grassroots to Glory app.

Testing Steps
1. Account Creation
1.1 Open the app and select "Create your account now."
1.2 Choose one of the personas of Parent/Guardian, Young adult or Scout.
1.3 (If scout is chosen, please know that your account needs to be verified by us, please inform someone that you are waiting)
1.4 Create a user profile using:
- A valid email address.
- A strong password.
2. Profile Setup
2.1 Log in and fill out the profile with:
- Personal details (e.g., name, age, location).
- Aspects of the players ability ( Dominant foot, weight & height.)
2.2 Add a profile picture.
2.3 Add your clubs history and teams played/playing for
2.4 Add multiple profile users as a parent
3. Uploading Content
3.1 Navigate to the "Upload" section.
3.2 Upload a Video demonstrate skills or Grassroots related.
3.3 Test the Tags and hashtag feature.

3.4 Add captions or descriptions to the uploaded content.
3.5 Check for upload times and error messages (if any).
4. Engagement Features
4.1 Explore the "Discover" section to view other users’ profiles.
4.2 "Like" or comment on showcased content.
4.3 Follow a user from the discover Section.
4.4 Test the messaging feature by replying to a scout.
5. Scout Interaction
Note - A scout will message you 24 hours after creating your account.
5.1 Test notifications for scout interactions.
5.2 Check for direct invitations to trials, events, or conversations.
5.3 Test the chat between Scout and user.
6. Settings and Profile
6.1 Navigate to the settings menu.
6.2 Update profile preferences, including notifications and privacy settings.
6.3 Add Club history on profile
6.4 Add Achievement on profile
6.5 Log out and log back in.
